Spring on Your Neck
The weather has been beautiful in Wisconsin and we are all so excited that spring is upon us. That means the sun is shinning longer and being outside with the kids will be a definite. As soon as Leyton is off the bus he either grabs his scooter or hops on his bike. Ahhh...this means more late work nights for me! I can't deny the kids play time outside this time of year so it's worth it.
Speaking of spring...how lovely are these necklaces? I've seen flowers pop up everywhere on necklaces lately. I'm hinting to my husband since some one's birthday is coming up soon. :)

Wooded Cards and Other Goodies
If only I had some extra cash to spend I'd love to get personal business cards printed up on these.

Oh. My. Cuteness!
I stumbled across these super cute birthday cupcake kits by Meri Meri. I've been a fan of Meri Meri for a while after spotting a few of their cards and other goodies in paper stores. I first spotted these kits on this blog site. Worth browsing!

She's a keeper
Three days out of the week it's just Maddie and I. Two of those days she goes to preschool for a few hours in the morning. Afterwards we sometimes run a few errands since we Mom's no how much easier it is with just one child to do so. Sometimes we go out to lunch or just come home and eat a little something, read books and then usually I put in a little bit of work time. Maddie is so good when I'm working for a few hours. She usually hangs out with me and colors, plays or watches a movie.
My husband just bought a guitar since he has wanted to take lessons for awhile now. Ever since he has been practicing little miss Maddie will drag her Barbie one out and do the same. This afternoon after lunch I snapped this video of her sitting on the couch with her guitar. Note that she isn't really strumming it and the occasional sticking out of the tongue. She definitely has her "sassy" moments but, this girl just melts my heart.
Oh and sorry for the not so steady shooting on my part. I was partially giggling and bobbing my head with her.

Childrens Wall Artwork
On ohdeedoh they posted a scale down version from HowDoesShe.com I think this may just be an idea of some artwork to be hung in my office.(Still in progress)
Another idea and wish I had the material for it right now but, unfortunately that would require a trip to the store and I just got back! Maybe later this week. They have magnetic sheets that you can run through your ink jet. You can buy them here. Basically you'd do the same but, print on the magnetic sheet. Cut them out and use them to hang up even more fabulous artwork!
