Trying something new

To keep me on my toes and make sure I'm staying steady with the blog I thought it would be fun to have a few dedicated days to certain things.  Monday's will be, Monday's Must Haves.

I'll post things that I'm lov'n and must have.  Okay, I probably won't always get to "have" but, a girl can wish, right?

What a drab photo, huh?

Okay, so you know my last post about Spring? Yep, that one needs to be set aside for now. Our snow free yard as of Tuesday morning is now covered with a foot of the stuff! The kids having a snow day today was the only highlight of it all. Mr. Groundhog was SO very wrong with his prediction. I'm really hoping within the next few weeks this will all be gone and winter will finally be behind us!

The snow photo is depressing to look at. This is much better! We busted open a bag of mixed flavored Starburst jelly beans. That brighten the day some.

After long Wisconsin winters how can you not but, have a smile on your face when the weather hits the 40's, you see robins in the trees, furry little bunnies hoping all around and perennials that are soon to peek up from ground. Yay for Spring!

Some days

Some days just seem to get the best of me. Nothing in particular is going on but, I'm just feeling a little overwhelmed. BUT, then I have to step back and smile because I have these two...

The LEGO inspired party I did for my son's birthday last year has definitely been the most popular and most searched post on my blog. Thanks for all the wonderful comments. I'm so glad I've gotten to help out other LEGO enthusiasts.

If you are in need of other party ideas don't hesitate to ask. I absolutely love designing for children themed parties. I've just added some goodies for a "Sweets" or "Lollipop" themed party in my Etsy shop. I have designed an invitation, toppers and thank you tags. The Sweetest Hats

I've had the Etsy seller, Heartsmiles in my favorites for awhile now. Everytime I see a sweet little creation of hers pop up in my favorites preview windows I can't help but check it out right away. I have my eyes on a few for Maddie.

I think they way she packages them are also...oh so darling.
